The Role

The Vice President of Client Solutions is an active outside sales, individual contributor role for a strong hunter, networker and closer. Responsibilities for this role include building and maintaining close relationships with prospects/clients, working with Operations to resolve issues and deliver projects quickly, successfully and profitably.

As a Vice President of Client Solutions, you will be critical in developing, implementing, and overseeing our sales strategy targeting market research agencies, ad agencies and consulting firms. You will lead the company efforts to acquire, activate, and accelerate engagement from new and existing agencies and their clients, playing a pivotal role in cultivating our relationship with key accounts. Our Vice President of Client Solutions will be instrumental in expanding our customer base, driving revenue growth, and positioning Emporia as the go-to platform for B2B market research.

The ideal candidate for this role is a strong communicator with excellent networking skills who is driven to achieving predetermined financial outcomes. Candidates will be skilled, experienced leaders with a background in agency sales, and with a proven track record in growing the customer base and driving revenue growth. We are seeking individuals who are eager to lead, develop, and optimize our sales processes. Experience working closely with or as part of market research agencies is essential, along with the ability to work cross-functionally to identify and capitalize on opportunities. You will collaborate closely with marketing, engineering, and customer success teams to align strategies and enhance the customer experience. Additionally, you will provide timely feedback to the engineering team on customer needs and potential improvements for the product, and monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities (Our critical jobs to be done)

  • Further develop, evolve and maintain the company's sales processes and systems in Hubspot's Sales Hub Pro
  • Further develop the company's forecasting processes in Hubspot leveraging client relationships + the project team
  • Develop relationships with key client stakeholders to create champions
  • Collaborate with marketing to create and execute targeted sales campaigns, aligning with company objectives.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the product development team based on client interactions and industry trends.
  • Represent the company at industry networking events and conferences
  • Conduct capabilities calls/presentations with prospects to present Emporia's capabilities as well as outline points of differentiation from key competitors
  • Deliver revenue forecasts that reflect expected sales
  • Demonstrate experience in brainstorming and problem solving, both internally and externally
